Digitab Menu ("we", "our", "us") provides the QR Studio app and the digitabmenu.com platform, which let restaurants and businesses create digital menus and QR codes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our app or website, you agree to the practices described here.
When you create a QR Studio / Digitab Menu account, we collect basic details such as your email address, restaurant or business name, and the menu content you choose to upload (images, categories, items, prices, logo). When you generate or scan QR codes, we record technical details like the QR destination URL, scan counts and timestamps so you can see analytics for your own menus. If your device camera is used to scan a QR code inside the app, the camera feed is processed on-device only — we do not store camera images or video.
We use the information you provide to operate your account, generate and host your digital menu pages and QR codes, show you scan analytics, keep your menu content up to date, and communicate with you about your account (e.g. password resets, plan status, support replies). We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your menu content for advertising purposes.
QR Studio Pro is offered as a yearly auto-renewing subscription (89.99 $ / year), billed and processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment card details. The store provider shares only a purchase confirmation with us so we can activate Pro features on your account. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
We share information only where it is necessary to run the service: with our hosting and database providers (to store your account and menu data securely), with Apple / Google (to process subscription purchases), and with email-delivery providers (to send account and password-reset emails). These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide services to us — never for their own marketing.
We keep your account and menu data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your personal information and uploaded content from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax or security purposes.
You can access, update or delete your menu content at any time from your dashboard. You can also request a copy of your data, or ask us to permanently delete your account and associated data, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe in line with applicable data-protection laws (including UAE data protection regulations).
QR Studio / Digitab Menu is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access-controlled servers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service or in applicable law. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice.
